Community Guidelines

Effective October 25, 2026

What changed

Version 1.0 · Last updated: October 13, 2026

Effective October 25, 2026 for accounts created on or after that date. For accounts created before October 25, 2026, this version takes effect when you accept it in the app or on November 16, 2026, whichever comes first.

These Community Guidelines are part of the Corvano Terms of Service (the "Terms"). They explain what you may and may not create or share on Corvano, how we check content, what happens when the rules are broken, and how to ask us to look again at a decision. Words with capital letters, such as "Your Content", "Shared Set" and "Class", have the meanings given in the Terms.

Corvano is operated by Havra LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Havra", "we", "us").

The short version

  • Corvano is a place to learn, and many people on it are teenagers, so keep everything you share suitable for a school.
  • Learn honestly. Never use Corvano to cheat on a real exam or on schoolwork where outside help isn't allowed.
  • Never share anyone's personal information, and never harass, threaten or sexualize anyone.
  • Only upload content you have the right to use.
  • Content is checked by automated systems. Content that seems to break these rules can be hidden, removed, or, for serious or repeated breaks, lead to the account being closed.
  • If you think we got a decision wrong, email support@corvano.app and a person will review it.

1.What these guidelines cover

These guidelines apply to everything you create, upload, import, copy or send in Corvano, including:

  • study sets, cards, images, audio, folders, study guides and practice tests;
  • Class names, descriptions, folder labels and announcements;
  • reports, ratings and comments you send us;
  • the name you choose to show other people; and
  • what you type into Corbie and the other AI Features.

They apply whether content is private or shared, because private content can still be shared later, copied or reported, and because some rules (for example, the rules about minors and about illegal content) apply everywhere.

2.Learn honestly

  • No cheating. Don't use Corvano during a real SAT, ACT or other exam, or on tests, homework or assignments where your school or teacher doesn't allow outside help.
  • No secure test content. Don't upload, share or ask about questions from real, secure exams (such as live SAT or ACT questions) in breach of the test maker's rules. Practice questions you wrote yourself in the style of a test, and official free practice material you are allowed to use, are fine.
  • No copying Corvano's question bank. Don't scrape, collect or republish Corvano's questions, answer keys or explanations, or try to see answers before you answer.

3.Keep Corvano safe for students

Don't create, upload or share anything that falls into these categories. These are the same categories our automated checks use.

CategoryNot allowed
Sexual contentSexually explicit material, sexual services, or sexual content of any kind aimed at other users.
Sexualizing a minorAnything that sexualizes a person under 18, in any way, including text, drawings and "jokes". This always leads to the account being closed. Where the law requires it, we report apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
Hate or harassmentAttacks on people or groups because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics; bullying, humiliating or targeting a real person.
Threats or violenceThreats against anyone, encouragement of violence, or content that celebrates real violence against real people.
Self-harmContent that encourages or instructs self-harm, suicide or disordered eating.
Dangerous or illegalInstructions for making weapons or explosives, buying drugs, hacking or stealing, or any other illegal activity.
Personal informationAnyone else's phone number, home address, email address, private photos, passwords, ID numbers or similar details, or content that impersonates a real person or organization.
Spam or scamsAdvertising, scams, malware, phishing, misleading links, or posting invite links in ways the Terms don't allow.
Exam cheatingContent shared to cheat on a real exam or assignment (section 2).
Other rightsContent that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights (section 5).

If you are struggling or thinking about hurting yourself, please talk to someone you trust. In the United States you can call or text 988 at any time to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Corvano and its AI Features can't help in a crisis.

4.What is allowed

Corvano is for studying, and real school subjects can be serious or mature. Ordinary study material is allowed even when the subject is difficult, for example:

  • the history of wars, genocide, slavery, terrorism or crimes, including quotes and propaganda you are studying;
  • biology and health: reproduction, anatomy, puberty, sexual health, disease, drugs and their effects, and mental health;
  • literature and film that contain violence, slurs or sexual themes, discussed or quoted for class;
  • law, forensics and the chemistry of dangerous substances at a textbook level;
  • foreign-language vocabulary, including rude words taught as vocabulary;
  • mild slang, jokes and casual language that don't attack a real person;
  • your own name or school in your own notes (but keep personal details out of anything you share); and
  • practice questions you wrote yourself in the style of the SAT or ACT, or from official free practice material you are allowed to use.

5.Respect other people's rights

  • Upload, import and share only content you created or have permission to use. Importing sets from another service doesn't give you rights in someone else's content.
  • Don't upload whole textbooks, paid course materials, test-prep books or other copyrighted works you don't own.
  • If you believe content on Corvano infringes your copyright, follow the notice process in section 12 of the Terms. A report through the "Report" button is not a legal notice.
  • We remove content that infringes copyright when we receive a valid notice, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, as the Terms explain.

6.Classes

Anyone can create a Class. If you run one:

  • Use it only to help members study.
  • Don't use a Class with anyone under 13. If you are a teacher using Corvano with your school's students, make sure your school allows it; schools that want to provide Corvano should use the Partner Program.
  • Invite only people you know, such as your own students or classmates, and share your Class code only with them.
  • Don't use a Class to collect personal information about members, and don't post anyone's personal information in a Class.
  • Class names, descriptions, folder labels and announcements are checked before members see them, and the same rules apply to them as to everything else.
  • Members choose whether their name appears on a Class leaderboard. Don't pressure anyone to opt in.

7.AI Features

  • Don't try to make Corbie or any other AI Feature produce content that breaks these guidelines, and don't try to get around their safety rules.
  • Don't enter other people's personal information, or anything sensitive about yourself, into an AI Feature.
  • AI Output you save into a set or share is Your Content for these guidelines: check it before you share it.

8.How we check content and enforce these guidelines

Automated checks

When a set is saved, imported, generated, copied or reported, automated systems read its text (title, description, tags and cards; not its pictures or audio) and look for content that may break these guidelines. Class text and announcements are checked before members see them. Some checks are performed by AI models from third-party providers, as the Privacy Policy explains.

  • Holding. When you first share a set, it may stay private until its first check clears it. A set that appears to break these guidelines is hidden from others while a second, more careful automated review looks at it.
  • Outcomes. That review can put the set back, remove it, or close the account. We decide these outcomes using automated systems, and a person may not review a decision before it takes effect. You can always ask for a person to review it (section 10).
  • Closing an account. We close an account for a serious violation (for example, sexualizing a minor, credible threats, or sharing someone's personal information to harm them) or for repeated violations. Today, a third removal within 90 days closes the account.
  • Our own review. We can also restore, remove, recheck or close on our own review, on a report, or when the law requires it, and our decision replaces an automated one.

What a closure means

When we close an account:

  • you can no longer sign in or use Corvano, and your Shared Sets stop being shared;
  • a Subscription stops renewing, and the current period is not refunded, as the Terms explain;
  • we may block the networks the account was used from in the 90 days before closure, except networks that many accounts share. Automated blocks end after 180 days. A network block can affect other people who use the same network. It isn't applied to a signed-in account in good standing that has a Paid Plan or a Seat. If you are blocked but did nothing wrong, email support@corvano.app: if, after we check, we find your account isn't connected to the closed one, we lift the block for your account and, if you have a Paid Plan, make up the time you lost, as section 14.3 of the Terms explains. You can always cancel a plan by emailing legal@corvano.app or support@corvano.app from your account address.

We keep a record of each decision (without the content's text, except that for a closure we also keep the content that led to it) so we can enforce closures and review appeals, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Other steps we may take

Depending on what happened, we may also warn you, remove content without closing the account, limit features, end free Plus time or rewards obtained by breaking the Terms, or tell the police or other authorities when someone may be in danger or the law requires it.

9.Reporting a problem

  • Sets: use Report on the set's page and choose a reason (spam, inappropriate, copyright or other). The set's owner never sees who reported it.
  • Class content: use the report option on the Class.
  • Anything else, including a problem with a person: email support@corvano.app.
  • Copyright: send a notice under section 12 of the Terms.
  • An intimate image shared without consent: if someone has shared a nude or sexual image of you (real or digitally altered) without your consent, email support@corvano.app with "Intimate image removal" in the subject, the link to the set, and a statement that the image is of you (or of someone you are authorized to act for) and was shared without consent. We remove valid reports, and copies we can identify, within 48 hours.
  • A child in danger: contact local emergency services, and report child sexual exploitation to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

Reports are checked by the same automated review and, where needed, by us. Please don't send false or abusive reports.

10.Asking us to look again

If we removed your content, held it, closed your account or blocked your network and you think we got it wrong, email support@corvano.app from the address on your account (or, if you can't sign in, from the address the account used) and tell us which decision you mean. A person will review it; we aim to reply within 5 business days, and if a review needs longer we tell you when to expect an answer. If we got it wrong, we restore your account and your sets, and if you had a Paid Plan we make up the time the account was closed, as section 14.3 of the Terms explains. Asking for a review doesn't stop you from using any other right you have under the Terms or the law.

11.Changes

We may update these guidelines as Corvano and the law change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in advance about changes that materially affect you, as section 15 of the Terms describes.
